Imagine going to work without the essential tools to do your job. It would be pretty tough to get anything accomplished, and the frustration factor would be very high.

That's what's happening every single day to millions of school children across the United States. They don't have the basics: pencils, pens, markers, paper, glue, crayons. Kids without these essentials have lower attendance rates, are more likely to do poorly in school, and more likely to drop out. The end result is a much higher likelihood to get in trouble, be unemployed and have no future.

Business Supply has seen the problem firsthand on a local level. We're helping locally, but we want to do more. So we partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation, a national non-profit who distributes school supplies to teachers and students who need them. For every order placed at Business Supply, we will donate an item to Kids In Need. It could be a dozen pencils or 24 crayons or a composition notebook. Whatever the foundation requests for a particular month, we'll provide.

The result is that we'll be able to donate hundreds of thousands of items every single year to children who don't have the tools to succeed.
