Eco-smart technology is a pre-programmed, four hour cycle that continually alternates between 1,500 watts and 1,000 watts. The heater runs on full power (1,500 watts) for ten minutes and then switches to 1,000 watt power for 20 minutes. Eco-smart technology continues to provide a great deal of warmth, but does so by using 25% less energy--it's a win-win situation for everyone! After the four- hour cycle has been completed, watt saver timer automatically shuts off heater. Heater also comes with safety features such as tip-over protection and automatic overheat protection.
