Catalog cases are specifically designed to carry either a quantity of catalogs or 3 ring binders, along with other necessary items such as pens, pencils, calculator, etc. Most are designed to be top loading so they are opened and closed at the top. Various models also feature a protective space internally for carrying laptops or notebook computers. Many of this style of case also features a hardened protective outer shell and either a combination or keyed lock.
